Half a day to get to know Zurich: the old town on foot, the red Polybahn funicular up to the university terrace and a boat trip on Lake Zurich, with the Alps behind on a clear day. A car and guide just for you.
The day
- Hotel pick-up at 9am
- The old town on foot: the Lindenhof, the Fraumünster with the Chagall windows, the Grossmünster and the lanes of the Niederdorf
- The Polybahn, the red funicular of 1889, up to the ETH terrace
- Bahnhofstrasse, and lunch
- A boat on Lake Zurich, the short round of about an hour and a half, leaving from Bürkliplatz
- Back at your hotel around 3pm
